Northern white oak is a large slow growing deciduous tree native to the eastern United States and can typically be found in forested areas of dry slopes, valleys, and ravines. This tree can grow upwards of 135' but typically stays around 80'-100'. This tree is widely planted in yards and parks for it's nice big crowns that provide ample shade. This tree is also a prolific supporter of wildlife for food and habitat.
