Northern red oak is a large tree with a tall, straight trunk; large, spreading branches; and a rounded crown. Grows best on deep, welldrained loam to silty, clay loam soils. It is very adaptable to city and suburban conditions as it is tolerant of air pollution and salt which makes it a favorable tree for yard plantings. This tree can reach heights of 70-80 feet. These trees are 0-2' tall.
